Arrival & Departure

● Once you've found the turning, follow the chalk lane to your site

● Arrival between 2 pm - 7 pm

● Prompt Departure by 11 am (campers can extend their departure time - see pricing page)

Please call 07775 568415 if you think you may be arriving later than 7 pm

● Minimum two-night stay on all weekends

● We can accept Camper Vans but not Mobile Homes or Panel Vans.

● For the safety of yourselves & others please drive at 5mph at all times around the site & no children at the wheel!

● 2024 we have rubbish facilities, bins are clearly marked with household waste, bottles & paper recycling. Bins are situated on the Struttons site.

Cancellations & Refunds

● Booking requires a 50% deposit.

● We have the right to cancel campers if the weather turns, campers will receive a full refund. We only offer refunds/alternative dates if we cancel due to adverse weather conditions, NOT if campers cancel.

● Cancellations with 28 days notice will be given a 50% refund of the full amount.

● Cancellations under 12 days notice no refund.

● Date transfers are at our discretion and pending availability for the deferred date.

● A fee of £5 per pitch booking is due for date transfers

Please note there is no electricity, we do have 4 bucket showers (There are 3 water bowsers on each site)

Firewood Availability

We hire fire pits for each pitch £2, you need to purchase firewood from us at £9 per crate - pre-order the firewood so it’s ready for your arrival!

We have an absolute zero-tolerance policy towards anyone burning any wood taken from the woodland.

Please at all times supervise your children & pets around the fire. Do not use a flammable liquid to light the fires. Never leave your fire unattended. We advise you to have a bucket of water next to your fire at all times.

Space Allocation

● All tents must be pitched at least 4 meters away from your fire pit - for the safely of yourselves & others.

● You can park your vehicle by your pitch at no extra cost.

● Groups/couples & family groups welcome.

● Large tents (over 6) are allowed with a surcharge £10

● You can bring your own bbq’s, (we do not permit the use of disposable bbq's)

● Please be aware fire pits are not for cooking on - except obviously toasting marshmallows & making the odd s’mores!

Parking

● You can drive & park your car by your tent - free of charge. Additional cars can be brought on-site for £5 per night

 ● You can ask friends (not camping) to hang out for the day at a charge of £6 pp & £5 for their vehicle. We please ask your friends to leave the site by 9.30 pm. Please ask permission before you invite.

Bucket Showers

● We’ve taken inspiration from African safaris where water is scarce. Our campsite is off grid (no mains supply) but we wanted our campers to have the option to freshen up - our bucket showers was the solution!

● We have 4 bucket showers - 2 on Tennis Wells & 2 on our Struttons site.

● Fill your bucket, pour into the shower bucket, raise bucket up using the pulley system & voila - a shower in the wild!

● A bucket suspended above your head with a pulley system to raise the bucket, each bucket has a shower head & lever, so its a shower not pouring a bucket of water over your head!! They are in our own built cubicles - you can choose to leave the curtain open to take in the view or close it :)

● As the showers are placed in our fields/woodland we’ll supply the shower gel, we use only natural paraben free gel so its not harmful to the environment.
